FEB UNAIR – HSBC Business Case Competition (BCC) is event among Indonesian undergraduate students. This competition is an annual competition organized by HSBC Indonesia and the Putera Sampoerna Foundation. This activity aims to attract potential leaders from millennial students, where they are prepared to contribute ideas and are also ready to face challenges in the business world in the future.

This year the competition was held again with various selection stages. Recently the Kopertis VII regional level selection was held in the Tirto Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) on Monday (18/3/2019). In total there were seven teams participated by representatives of the best teams from three leading universities in East Java. Among them are three teams from Brawijaya University (UB), one team from Surabaya University (UBAYA), and three teams from UNAIR.

After going through various aspects of assessment, the results showed that the representatives for East Java to advance to the national level were one team from UBAYA and one team from UNAIR. Jovi Sulistiawan, SE, M.SM. as coach of the Unair team said that the team that passed was the best team for East Java, where the results they achieved were the fruit of their hard work all this time.

Dr. Rudi Purwono as Deputy Dean 1 for Education and Student Affairs, FEB Unair, added to the importance of the competition and he hopes that the team that passes will be able to win the HSBC Business Case Competition at the National Level and be able to represent HSBC BCC at the Asia Pacific Level which will be held in Hong Kong in June 2019.
