(FEB NEWS) Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) in collaboration with the Indonesian Association of Accountants Educator Accountant Compartment (IAI KAPd) East Java Region and also the Association of the Indonesian Faculty of Economics and Business (AFEBI), held a Workshop on "IT Adoption (Information and Technology) in the Undergraduate Accounting Study Program (PSSA) Curriculum”, for the Heads/Heads of the Accounting Study Program, Secretaries of the Accounting Study Program and Lecturers in Information Systems Group Accounting from all over Indonesia (from Aceh to Papua). The event was held from the Fadjar Notonagoro Hall, 2nd Floor FEB UNAIR, and was attended by around 522 participants, from all over Indonesia, (10-11 July 2023).
On the first day, those present gave the Opening Speech: Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Kadir, M.Sc., CIPM., CWM., CRA., CRP. – Chair of AFEBI (Association of Indonesian Faculty of Economics and Business) as well as Dean of FEB UNHAS and Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., M.Si., Ak., CMA., CA. - Chair of IAI KAPd East Java Region/Dean of FEB UNAIR as host of the workshop. As Keynote Speech: Dr. Ardan Adiperdana, Ak., MBA., CFrA., CA., FCMA., CGMA. – Chairman of IAI.
Unmitigated, in the workshop held on the first day IAI presented several resource persons who were competent in their fields, including:

Dyah Setyaningrum, SE., MSM., CPMA., CA – Head of Dean Office, Strategic Planning, Evaluation, and Monitoring - International Ranking (DOSPEM - IR) FEB UI, to discuss Curriculum Brainstorming based on KKNI and OBE, as well as Preparation of OBE RPS based on IES, with moderator Dr. Dra. Arum Prastiwi, MSi., Ak., CA. 3. Prof.
Dr. rer. pol. Hamza Ritchi, CA. – Professor in AIS and Digital Innovation, to discuss Reflections on Digitalization for Accounting Talent (Curriculum and RPS Courses in the Information Systems Family) and Dr. Muchlis, SE., M.MT – Main Director of PT. Media Existama Teknologies Surabaya, to discuss the ERP Curriculum Use Case in the Accounting Study Program along with examples of RPS courses in the SI Family, with moderator Luluk Widyawati, SE., M.Bus., Ph., D., Ak., CA. 4. Representing technology users: KAP Deloitte (Rosita Uli Sinaga, SE., Ak., MM., CPA., CA., FCMA., CGMA); DJP (Nuryani, S.Kom., MM); BI (Mutiara Sianipar); Tokopedia (Rudy A. Dalimunthe, SE., Ak., MM., CA), with moderator Dr. Nanny Dewi, SE., Ak., M.Com.
The Chair of the IAI explained that this workshop event was very relevant to the IAI Strategic Plan 2022-2026, that this workshop would have a huge contribution in strengthening professional transformation; increasing public trust, and creating/creating how the profession of an accountant can play a real role in the progress of the Indonesian nation, especially in the economic sector.
Through this workshop, the Chair of IAI KAPd East Java Region as well as the Dean of FEB UNAIR invited all those present to join hands together to improve the quality of education, continue to carry out Continuous Improvement to become better until they ultimately become superior (have the ability to compete globally)
