An Art Exhibition attended by disabled children enlivened the second day of the Female Fair at Ciputra World Surabaya, Saturday (18/12/2021).
This Art Exhibition, which was initiated by Master of Management students Universitas Airlangga class 56, wants to introduce the work of children with special needs (ABK) who have products with high selling value.
The reason is, so far the art products produced by ABK have not been widely recognized by the general public.
"This event is an offering from MM Unair 56 weekdays as a form of Creating Shared Value (CSV) activities aimed at introducing and increasing sales of products produced by ABK children," said Rizkya Pradita , chairman of the Art Exhibition committee.
Kiky, his nickname, explained that this activity was attended by SLB Putra Mandiri Jambangan, SLB Budhi Gayungan Student, SLB Bangun Bangsa Pacar Keling and SLB BC Optimal Bulak Kenjeran.
Apart from the art show and products made by ABK, a website will also be launched to market their products.
"We hope that this event will open new marketing channels by increasing the number of sales of their work, as well as providing a sustainability effect for this potential business," he said.
Kiky added that the Female Fair to present this Art Exhibition, because the figures who play a role in empowering crew members have so far been dominated by women. Starting from ABK who are successful in modeling, entrepreneurs who employ ABK to special school teachers.
Meanwhile, Chair of the FEB Unair Management Department and Lecturer in Business Ethics & CSR, Gancar C Premananto, appreciated the event held by his students.
"Our pride as managers within the FEB Unair environment is the emergence of innovative concerns from prospective business leaders studying at MM FEB Unair. "They are also able to work together in a solid team to carry out the idea of social care with excellence with morality," he concluded.
Apart from that, the Female Fair at Ciputra World Surabaya, Saturday (18/12/2021), also presented female inspirational figures.
One of them is the GM of The Alana Hotel Surabaya, Ika Florentina in Female's Talk: Hospitality Sharing Session - "Feeling Your Career".
