Abstract

In the fast and dynamic world of shipping and ship design, companies are trying to survive, grow and develop so that they are not inferior to competing companies. To realize this, human resource management with high capability and integrity is required which can meet the company's demands. PT. NaSDEC Indonesia is a private company operating in the field of ship design which considers psychological empowerment important which can improve task performance and contextual performance. This research consists of three variables, namely, psychological empowerment, task performance and contextual performance. Based on the theoretical basis used and the problem formulation proposed, there are four hypotheses. Calculations using regression analysis which includes validity, reliability, multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, correlation analysis, coefficient of determination analysis (R2), simultaneous test (F test) and partial test (t). Test results on PT employees. NaSDEC Indonesia in Surabaya produces: (1) Meaning, competence, self-determination and impact simultaneously have a significant effect on task performance, (2) Self-determination and impact have a partially significant effect on task performance, (3) Meaning, competence, self-determination and impact simultaneously has a significant effect on contextual performance, (4) impact has a partially significant effect on contextual performance.
