Abstract

This research analyzes the influence of Employee Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance with Work Motivation as an intervening variable. The aim of this research is to test and analyze the influence of research variables which include, job satisfaction on work motivation, work motivation on performance and job satisfaction on performance directly and through work motivation as an intervening variable. The respondents of this research were 106 permanent employees in the production (installation/technical) section of PTPN XI (Persero) Pradjekan Sugar Factory, Bondowoso. This research is quantitative using path analysis assisted by SPSS version 18. The results of this research show that the direct influence between job satisfaction on employee work motivation is positive and significant at 0.343 with a significance level of 0.000, secondly it shows that the direct influence between work motivation on employee performance is positive and significant at 0.070 with a significance level of 0.005, the third shows the direct influence between job satisfaction on employee performance is 0.317 with a significance level of 0.002, and the indirect influence through work motivation as an intervening variable is 0.024.
