Abstract

PT Dupan Anugerah Lestari is a national private company engaged in the production of NPK Granule fertilizer which started its production activities in 2010. The products produced by PT Dupan Anugerah Lestari have the Pupindo trademark and have been marketed through nine marketing offices spread throughout Indonesia. One strategy for achieving efficiency is to minimize the costs incurred for production activities. Efficient inventory management of raw materials and finished goods can increase the profit margin obtained by the company. For this reason, it is proposed to use raw material control methods that can be selected, namely: Lot For Lot (LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Period Order Quantity (POQ), and Part Period Balancing (PPB). Meanwhile, the method for controlling finished goods is proposed using the Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) method. The process of forecasting production needs is also needed to predict the costs that will be incurred by the company in the future. There are four forecasting methods that can be used, namely: Classical Decomposition, Single Exponential Smoothing, Double Exponential Smoothing, and Winters Method.
