psci feb unairOn April 18 and 23 2024, WEBS UNAIR held an Internal Public Speaking Class (PSCI) activity with the theme "Honeing Impromptu Speaking Skills: Spontaneous and Responsive Speaking Skills in the Work Environment". PSCI itself is an internal WEBS UNAIR activity in the form of public speaking training. PSCI consists of two sessions, namely a material session and a practice session where each participant will carry out public speaking practice which will be assessed by the jury as a form of benchmark for participants' understanding of the material that has been presented. The theme adopted by PSCI this year is aimed at participants being able to practice their spontaneous speaking skills effectively and increase their self-confidence in front of interlocutors, especially in the work environment.

We hope that PSCI activities can support SDGs point 4, where public speaking training can improve students' communication skills and knowledge and professionalism in various fields. Through this activity, we hope to support SDGs point 8, where public speaking skills can increase career and entrepreneurial opportunities by strengthening participants' ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders. Therefore, it is hoped that PSCI 2024 can facilitate WEBS UNAIR members to be more effective in conveying ideas and improving their quality through spontaneous and responsive speaking skills in the future work environment.
