This is a collaborative Student Exchange program organized by Universitas Airlangga and University Utara Malaysia which sent five student delegations with one accompanying lecturer from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic Economics Study Program, Universitas Airlangga to conduct studies and research to Universiti Utara Malaysia on 25 November – Last December 2, 2018.
The five students who were given the opportunity to become delegates were Muhammad Rasyid, Rofadatul Hasanah, Nadira Rahmandani, Annisa Rahma Febriyanti, and Adinda Nur Wahidin. Accompanied by Mr. Sulisty Rusgianto, SE., MIF. as a supervisor while at UUM, these students have the opportunity to experience the academic atmosphere in other countries and understand learning directly both in terms of theory and practice more broadly and internationally. The expected output from this student exchange program is one of writing and journal publication, where each paper presented will be assessed by a team of lecturers from both Universitas Airlangga and Universiti Utara Malaysia .
With this activity, it is hoped that in the future we will be able to explore new ideas which are hot topics in the development of Islamic Economics in this modern era. As well as realizing Universitas Airlangga vision of becoming a World Class University and contributing to the progress of the Indonesian economy.
