Smart Accounting Competition (SAC) is one of a series of accounting olympiad events held by Yogyakarta State University. Smart Accounting Competition (SAC) is an accounting competition between students from various universities in Indonesia organized by the Bachelor of Accounting Education Program at Yogyakarta State University. This year, SAC 2020 raised the theme "Developing Fintech to Face the Impact of the Covid 19 Pandemic for the Role of Accountants in the Era of Society 5.0 through the 2020 Accounting Cermast Smart Competition". This competition aims to hone knowledge and increase participants' interest in the field of accounting and prepare them to be ready to compete globally. SAC 2020 was held on 23-24 October 2020 via the online platform Zoom. The 2020 SAC competition consists of 3 rounds, namely the main round, semifinals and final. The cum laude team managed to pass the main round which selected the 25 best teams with their performance scores in the main round. However, during the semi-final round, the cum laude team could not advance to the final round because of the 25 teams that passed the semi-final round, only 5 teams managed to advance to the final round of SAC 2020 which was organized by Yogyakarta State University.
