Comparative study is one of the work programs of the Public Relations Division of the FEB Universitas Airlangga Student Cooperative. A comparative study between the Universitas Airlangga FEB Student Cooperative and the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology Student Cooperative (Kopma dr. Angka ITS) was carried out with the aim of increasing insight and knowledge regarding new things regarding better and more interesting cooperatives, which have never been implemented in Kopma FEB Unair. Apart from that, this activity can also be a means of evaluating performance development between cooperatives so that they become better cooperatives in the future. This comparative study was carried out on Sunday, May 26 2024, offline at Universitas Airlangga .
One of the main focuses in this comparative study is the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 9. Both cooperatives discussed how technology and innovation can be adopted to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of cooperative management. Universitas Airlangga FEB Student Cooperative and Kopma dr. ITS figures explore the use of digital systems for management and marketing, which can help improve cooperative performance and support the development of more modern infrastructure. By utilizing the latest technology, cooperatives can increase their competitiveness and provide better services to their members. Apart from that, the implementation of SDG 17 is also an important agenda in this comparative study. The two cooperatives built a strong partnership to learn from each other and develop together. This comparative study itself is a concrete example of effective collaboration, where the Universitas Airlangga FEB Student Cooperative and Kopma dr. ITS figures exchange experience and knowledge to improve the performance of each cooperative. By strengthening networks and cooperation, the two cooperatives can create positive synergies, open up opportunities for future collaboration, and jointly contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.
It is hoped that after this activity, Kopma FEB Unair can strengthen good relations and cooperation with Kopma dr. ITS figures and being able to apply new insights gained for the future progress of cooperatives. This comparative study not only provides direct benefits for the two cooperatives, but also shows their commitment to supporting the achievement of the SDGs through innovation and strategic partnerships.
