In 2022, the Covid-19 pandemic will begin to experience a fairly high increase in cases in several areas, including Surabaya. The peak increase in cases is expected to continue. This causes many small communities to experience a decrease in income and even have difficulty meeting their daily needs. Therefore, many small communities need social assistance from various parties.

Social service activities or what is better known as social service is a form of social activity to create a sense of caring for the surrounding community. This social service can be carried out to help people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Apart from helping the community, social service activities also have the aim of increasing a sense of solidarity and fostering a sense of sympathy to help one another.

In order to help underprivileged communities, HIMA Management Universitas Airlangga will hold social service activities. This is a form of real activity for Universitas Airlangga management students to care for the surrounding community. Social service activities themselves are actually a form of our social concern and responsibility to be able to provide benefits to society. Apart from that, this activity seeks to achieve SDGs goal point 17. We strive to realize sustainable development goals through the involvement of related parties, such as youth, communities and universities. Therefore, we are trying to create activities that can encourage the achievement of SDGs point 17 in the future.

The plan is that this activity will be named Management Cares (M-Cares). In 2022, HIMA Management Universitas Airlangga will try to implement M-Cares to create activities that can benefit the community and carry out donation assistance activities for communities affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. With this spirit of service, we will realize the beauty of sharing happiness among Management students Universitas Airlangga .

The 2022 M-Cares activity will take the form of raising funds for social assistance which will be distributed to underprivileged communities and orphanages. We will distribute basic necessities to orphanages and fast-breaking meals to underprivileged people. This activity will be held directly on April 24 2022. Meanwhile, fundraising will be open from March 7 2022 to April 22 2022. Come and participate in channeling kindness in the M-Cares event!
