The 2019 International Summer Business Program is a summer school activity held by Daffodil International University in Bangladesh. This program was attended by one of the students from the Bachelor of Management Study Program Universitas Airlangga , Soraya Kamila Humaira class of 2016. This program itself offers a class with the theme Social Business for Sustainable Development which will introduce and provide a deeper introduction to Social Business. This program will teach how to identify social problems and create solutions while building an entrepreneurial spirit. Accredited academics as well as directors from social business companies will lead classes so participants can learn from their life experiences directly. This is an opportunity to build a network with well-known companies and activists in the field of social business.
Daffodil International University itself is one of the first universities to operate in the field of social business from the start. The Yunus Social Business Center at Daffodil International University has created many resources about social business that can be developed by students and will have a positive impact on society. The 2019 International Summer Business Program itself will last for 10 days. Starting from 12 July 2019 to 22 July 2019. It is hoped that by participating in this activity, the relevant delegation will be able to create its own social business by gathering support from shareholders and this business idea can be realized and increase leadership abilities to solve social problems through a social entrepreneurship perspective.
