ECW (Entrepreneurship and Career Workshop) is the largest series of annual events organized by the Development Economics Student Association Universitas Airlangga . This event aims to provide a forum for students, in particular, to prepare themselves to carry out their roles as entrepreneurs or competent workers. Through talk shows, career workshops and people's bazaars. ECW is a platform that inspires and provides entrepreneurial knowledge and skills needed to face the dynamic world of business and careers.
The 13th ECW which contained a Career Workshop and Entrepreneurship Talkshow was held in the Fadjar Hall, on Saturday, November 2 2024. As well as the Macrofest (tenant bazaar) was held in the front yard of the Ex Pharmacy Campus B UNAIR on Monday, November 4 2024. The presence of this ECW was a manifestation of our support for SDG's 1 and 9.
SDG's 1 aims to eradicate poverty. Organizing ECW can support this goal by providing knowledge to participants or audiences about the world of entrepreneurship, such as introducing how to become a successful entrepreneur, or how to become an entrepreneur from scratch. So it is hoped that as many people know how to start a business, when they are successful they will open up many job opportunities for the community. This can create Human Resources for sustainable economic growth. SDG's 9 emphasizes industry, innovation and infrastructure. This means that holding the 13th ECW can give rise to innovations or ideas in building businesses and advancing the FnB and non-FnB industries in Indonesia.
Thus, the procurement of the 13th ECW can provide a means of building innovation, industry and efforts to eradicate poverty which supports the achievement of SDG's 1, 8 and 9 by providing information on how to build businesses and providing innovation on creative businesses and advancing MSMEs (a manifestation of the implementation of Macrofest) .
