STATA HIMA TRAINING EP

HIMA Economic Development Universitas Airlangga is holding STATA Training activities which will be facilitated by the Science Department in order to fulfill
expertise in the field of statistics and data management. Through this activity, it is hoped that all participants involved will receive education on how to process data using the "stata" tool to prepare them for the world of work later.
The implementation of STATA training also supports the realization of SDGs goals
4, 8 and 17. Goal 4 states "Quality of education", quality education must
be one of the areas of excellence at universities. Education is the
main gateway to getting out of inequality, especially multi-generational inequality problems. Where Stata Training accommodates individuals to be equipped with how
to use the 'stata' tool which is used as a data processing tool.
Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, where Stata Training can prepare superior human qualities in processing data for high productivity for the sake of economic growth so that it continues to develop. And finally, goal 17: Collaboration to achieve goals. Where this Stata Training will collaborate with RISED (Research Institute of Socio-Economic Development), to present teachers who excel in using STATA tools for maximum participant output.
The target of this activity is UNAIR Development Economics students. This training was held for 2 days on 18-19 May 2024 which was conducted online via Zoom. The indicator of the success of this training is that at least 65 participants attended/day and 85% of participants were able to give a good assessment of the survey for presenters and the implementation of the event which was calculated in the Customer Satisfication Index by Internal Control.
