Students are the young generation who are expected to be the nation's successors and can build a better Indonesia and be able to realize a Golden Indonesia 2045. A Golden Indonesia 2045 is the country's dream and a guide to a better future, which is built on resilience, prosperity, inclusion and continuity. Golden Indonesia 2045 can be realized with superior and competent Human Resources. In order to realize these ideals, real contributions are needed from the younger generation, especially students. As agents of change and carriers of innovative ideas, students play an important role in building a strong foundation towards a Golden Indonesia.
One of the steps that can be taken in this regard is that students who are members of the Islamic Economics Student Association, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (HIMA EKIS FEB UNAIR) will hold the IQTISHODUNA event which is a forum for pupils and students to hone academic skills, think critically, and explore current issues in the world of economics. IQTISHODUNA 2024 supports SDGs number 4, namely quality education, because this competition activity aims to support pupils and students to be able to exchange ideas, develop innovative solutions and broaden their horizons. IQTISHODUNA 2024 has the theme "Empowering the Millennial Generation to Revitalize Islamic Economic Existence". This event has three sub-events, namely:
1. Sharia Debate Challenge 2024
Sharia Debate Challenge 2024 is an Islamic economic debate competition held for high schools and equivalents throughout Indonesia. This debate competition will be held on Saturday, 14 September 2024 at 07.00 - 15.00 WIB and Saturday, 21 September 2024, 07.00 - 16.00 WIB online. And on Saturday, October 12 2024, 07.00 - 16.00 WIB offline. Sharia Debate Challenge is a dynamic discussion stage that challenges students to investigate, analyze and discuss current issues in sharia economics. This competition invites participants to embrace a critical thinking framework, form strong arguments, and convey their views on how sharia economic principles can be a solution in various global economic contexts.
2. Econo-Sharia 2024
Econo-Sharia is a national level Scientific Writing Competition (LKTI) held to improve students' research, writing and speaking skills in scientific forums. This LKTI competition will be held on Saturday, 14 September 2024 at 07.00 - 15.00 WIB and Saturday, 21 September 2024, 07.00 - 16.00 WIB online. And on Saturday, October 12 2024, 07.00 - 16.00 WIB offline. This competition has the following detailed mechanism, where in the initial stage there is Proposal Presentation, followed by Proposal Selection, Presentation Selection and Discussion, then Assessment, Awards, Publication, and in the final stage there is Development (Skills Development and Network Development).
3. Olympics
This economic olympiad competition will be held online, but the final stage will be held offline. This Olympic competition will be held on Saturday, 14 September 2024 at 07.00 - 15.00 WIB and Saturday, 21 September 2024, 07.00 - 16.00 WIB online. And on Saturday, October 12 2024, 07.00 - 16.00 WIB offline. In the initial stage, which is held online, participants must prepare competition equipment such as computers, cellphones, internet networks and other necessary equipment. Olympiad participants will work on questions shared via a link in the Telegram group and must end the competition and wait for the announcement according to the schedule.
