PBCM (Personal Branding and Career Mentoring) is a webinar program held by the PSDM division of the Islamic Economics Student Association Universitas Airlangga . This PBCM activity was carried out online via a zoom meeting on May 29 2022 with a segmentation of active Islamic Economics students Universitas Airlangga

Personal Branding itself is the process of forming society's or public perception of aspects of a person's possessions. This aspect includes personality, abilities, values, and positive perceptions that arise or exist within the individual with the aim of influencing other people's perceptions regarding their own values ​​and qualities. Career Mentoring is a process that uses various aspects including skills by experienced people through guidance, education and training with learning objectives. Simply put, a program where participants will be assisted by a mentor for career-related matters. So the hope is that by holding this PBCM activity, participants will be able to find out basic skills in the era of society 5.0, find out someone's interest in the field of work that matches their passion, and know the fundamentals of a healthy company.

The theme that will be presented for Personal Branding is Knowing Basic Potential Skill in Society 5.0, with a topic discussion regarding how to promote yourself professionally in building a career and developing the Society 5.0 program, namely 4C (creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration) which aims to prepare ourselves to become superior human resources in the midst of global competition, as well as being more focused and easier to achieve the success that has been determined. Meanwhile, the Career Mentoring theme is Finds Ways to Through the Worked World, discussing the topics of how to determine a good company using fundamental analysis and the company's track record, preparing yourself for a job interview, as well as general qualifications that HRD looks for when recruiting workers.

For this event, the PBCM material will be presented by speaker Devita Septiana Prastiwi, who is the Internal Audit of BUMN, PT Garam (Persero) and will be followed by a question and answer session and the presentation of the speaker's certificate. This event is related to SDGs 8, namely decent work and economic growth because this event brings in speakers who work in BUMN and provides benefits for applicants as knowledge for registering for jobs in the future and of course this event is free of charge at all.
