Airlangga Accounting Competition is the largest annual work program and event organized by the Accounting Student Association, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga . This activity includes an Accounting competition aimed at State/Private University Students and National High School/Equivalent School Students.
The Airlangga Accounting Competition contributes significantly to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education. Through this event, participants from various universities and high schools in Indonesia had the opportunity to develop and practice their accounting knowledge in a competitive and collaborative environment. This competition encourages improvements in the quality of education by providing a platform for students to exchange ideas and learn from each other.
Realizing the importance of awareness of sustainability in Indonesia in facing increasing demands to manage environmental, social and governance impacts responsibly, AAC 2024 raised the theme "ESG Integration: Empowering Accountants to Guide a Sustainable Future." This theme highlights the important role of accountants in supporting the implementation of effective ESG practices and building a sustainable future.
