DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES
The first round of the Brawijaya Accounting Fair (BAF) Olympics was the "Preliminary: Troposphere" round which took place on September 26 2021. This round was carried out online and was attended by 34 teams with 3 members on each team. The Best Team is the only representative from the Bachelor of Accounting Universitas Airlangga Surabaya. The questions and answer sheets can be accessed by the team leader at 08.50 WIB via Google Classroom and then shared with other team members. The questions are in the form of PDF files and the answer sheets are in the form of a Google Sheet, so that the committee can monitor participants' work via the Google Sheet. There are 3 types of questions, namely multiple choice (50 questions), short answers (20 questions), and crossword puzzles (10 questions). The questions given are presented in English and Indonesian. The processing time given is 90 minutes, namely 09.00 – 10.30 WIB. The announcement of participants who passed the next stage will be held on September 29 2021 via Instagram @baffebub and the participants' Whatsapp group.
The next round after qualifying for the "Preliminary: Troposphere" round is "Quarter Final: Stratosphere" which took place on October 9 2021. This round was attended by 20 teams who got the highest points in the previous round and the Best Team was in 18th place out of 34 teams which exists. The mechanism for giving questions and answer sheets is still the same as the previous round, but in this round the participants' work is supervised by the committee via Zoom and Google Meet. Apart from being a monitoring medium, Zoom is also used as a place for team discussions. Google Meet is used to record the PC/Laptop screen used by the participant so that it is placed next to the participant so that the condition of the participant's work area and the activity on the participant's PC/Laptop layer can be seen. The questions consist of 30 multiple choice questions and 20 true or false questions in English and Indonesian. Participants are given 60 minutes of processing time from 13.45 – 14.45 WIB. However, in this round the Best Team did not qualify for the next round, namely the 10 teams with the highest points, while the Best Team was in 14th place out of the 20 teams that competed in this round.
