We give thanks to Almighty God. On Friday, May 10 2019, the HMA external sector together with volunteers implemented AKSOS (AKS1 SOCIAL) 3.0 at the Darussalam Orphanage
The event started at 16.30 WIB with an opening and prayer with the younger siblings from the Darussalam Orphanage who were full of enthusiasm and happiness. After that, the event continued with chatting with my younger brother and telling stories about what he had gone through during the fast. After having a good time, the volunteers together with the younger siblings played a glass cup game, everyone in the room played and mixed together without any barriers between the younger siblings from the orphanage and the volunteers. Game players who lose must be punished, there are some people who lose and get punished, among the punishments are memorizing short letters and insight into nationality. The game finished and continued with singing along with the song Muhammadku from Hadad Alwi. After that, the Maghrib call to prayer sounds and the fast is broken with takjil. Then continued with group prayers and closed with a meal together. The most important lesson we can take from the AKSOS 3.0 activity this time is enthusiasm to live each day and don't be afraid or hesitate to do good, because our kindness is a smile for other people.
The holding of this event is also inseparable from the important role of GESER (Thousand Rupiah Movement) which AKS1 residents have contributed. So don't forget to fill in the slide for the next AKSOS activity.
