Airlangga Youth English Competition (AYEC) 2025: English competition for high school students in Indonesia.
Airlangga Youth English Competition (AYEC) 2025 is the result of a collaboration between the Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business (BEM FEB) Universitas Airlangga and the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) of FEB Universitas Airlangga. This competition presents various branches of English -based competition aimed at high school students throughout Indonesia. AYEC 2025 aims to introduce and build the image of FEB IUP Universitas Airlangga among high school students and external parties from FEB Universitas Airlangga and provide competition for high school students. As part of an effort to support the goal of sustainable development (Sustainable Development Goals/SDGs) 8 Points, namely decent jobs and economic growth, AYEC 2025 plays a role in increasing student innovation related to economic problems that are around us. Not only that, this race can also be a means to increase student interest and motivation in learning English. Furthermore, AYEC 2025 contributes to creating equality in accessing education by providing fair opportunities for all students to participate. With the principle of inclusiveness, this competition opens space for various background participants to gain valuable academic experience. Aside from being a competition event, AYEC 2025 is also a place for students to be creative and innovate more to achieve academic achievements and develop language skills that will be very useful in their life and careers in the future. This is in line with the 9th SDG, which emphasizes infrastructure and industrial innovations, we hope that participants can prepare individuals to face global challenges. Through this program, it is hoped that the participants can hone their ability to be in English communication and have better readiness in dealing with the world of higher education and the world of work
