(FEB NEWS) The closing of the series of events for the 2024 Economic Student Information and Communication Week (PIKMEN) at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) took place lively and meaningfully on Friday, 23 August 2024. The event was held on the front lawn of the FEB Integrated Services Unit UNAIR is the culminating event of the entire series of PIKMEN 2024 activities, with various events that are not only entertaining, but also have a positive impact on all students and the community.
One of the most inspiring moments in the event was the donation from new students of the 2024/2025 Odd Semester to the Surabaya Foundation for the Development of Disabled Children (YPAC). A total of IDR 13,063,000 was collected from the participation of new students, showing a high spirit of solidarity and social awareness. It is hoped that this donation will help YPAC support children with special needs to get better education and services.
Not only that, the atmosphere became even more lively with a spectacular performance from the Fusionomic Band, who successfully hypnotized the audience with energetic and mesmerizing music. The appearance of the 2024 FEB UNAIR Ambassador also added to the excitement of the event. Apart from that, booths for student organization activities at FEB UNAIR were also opened.
Apart from that, the saman dance performed by the students succeeded in attracting the attention of the audience with the cohesiveness of the movements and the beauty of the dance. Their acts brought a strong atmosphere of tradition into this modern event, creating a unique and touching harmony.
The PIKMEN 2024 Closing Ceremony was truly the perfect closing, reflecting the spirit of togetherness, creativity and high social awareness among FEB UNAIR students. With the end of PIKMEN 2024, it is hoped that this enthusiasm will continue and become an inspiration for the entire FEB UNAIR academic community to continue working and contributing positively to society.
