The digital world and AI are things that are commonly used in the business world. For this reason, business schools must prepare their students to enter such a business world. How the world of education provides AI training for students is discussed by Dr. Gancar C Premananto MSI., CDM., AIBIZ. at a webinar held by Tunku Abdur Rahman University of Management and Tachnology (TAR-UMT) Malaysia, (16/12/2023). Together with practitioners in the world of AI, Dr Gancar discussed various things that had been done within the FEB UNAIR Management Department, both presentations using AI and assignments with the help of AI. For this reason, several lecturers in the Management Department of FEB UNAIR were also sent to obtain AI mastery competency certification. Both AIBIZ and DSBIZ. In the future, students will even be given certification regarding the use of AI to carry out research. Management also has digitalization-based courses such as Digital Literacy and Business & Digital Transformation.
The Department of Management is ready to prepare students to face their future in a digitalized business world.
In the context of student preparation for the digitalized business world, the Management Department of FEB UNAIR has demonstrated its commitment to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Dr. Gancar C Premananto MSI., CDM., AIBIZ., in the webinar, said that the use of AI technology in the business world is not only related to technological developments, but is also in line with achieving sustainable development goals. By involving practitioners in the field of AI, the FEB UNAIR Management Department is actively exploring the potential of AI in improving the quality of education and research, as well as planning competency certification for students regarding the use of AI in conducting research. These proactive steps reflect the department's commitment to supporting the SDGs, especially SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), making them an integral part of efforts to create future-oriented and sustainable education.
