(FEB UNAIR) Monday, 6 November 2023 - Universitas Airlangga HIMA External Management Department successfully held Management Visit Vol. 3 by visiting the industrial area, namely PT. Aice Cream Jatim Industry and Japfa Comfeed Sidoarjo. This event is not just an ordinary trip, but is a maximum effort to bridge class business theory with field reality.
Not alone, 2 accompanying lecturers who were no less enthusiastic helped guide this trip, namely Mr. Drs. Puspandam Katias, MM., CPLM. and Dunga Dwi Barinta, SE, MM Their presence provides added value with an in-depth understanding of industry and management theory.
PT Aice Cream Jatim Industry was the first destination, starting with a factory tour that covered several departments. Universitas Airlangga Management students are equipped with in-depth knowledge of the company's business processes. Discussions between students and the company flowed smoothly, followed by a refreshing do it yourself ice cream eating session, as well as the closing of the event.
Not stopping there, the group then continued their adventure to Japfa Comfeed Sidoarjo, a quality animal feed factory. The MC opened the activity with enthusiasm, followed by a warm welcome from the Supervisor and representatives of Japfa Comfeed Sidoarjo. Apart from an informative company profile, students were also given the opportunity to ask questions in an interesting QnA session. The activity became even more exciting with prizes being given to participants who actively participated, before ending with a company tour that revealed another side of the company's operations.
