Ormawa Febua(Feb News) Trawas, 15 February 2025 - Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair) held "Ormawa Camp 2025: Coordination and Synergy of the FEB UNAIR Ormawa Work Program" at Blessing Hills Family Resort & Hotel, Trawas. This activity was attended by administrators from 24 elements of student organizations (Ormawa) who had just been inaugurated, as well as the leaders of FEB Airlangga University and related ranks. For two days (15-16 February 2025), this event aims to strengthen coordination, evaluate work programs, and build inter-organizational solidarity to improve the performance of Ormawa during the 2025 period.

The event was officially opened by the Dean of FEB UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., Ca. , who was accompanied by Deputy Dean I, Dr. Wisnu Wibowo , and Deputy Dean III, Dr. Ahmad Rizky Sridadi and his staff. In his remarks, Prof. Dian stressed the importance of this forum as an effective communication forum between the Faculty Leaders as well as the FEB Airlangga manager and the Student Organization. He reminded that all ORMAWA work programs not only reflect the activities of each organization, but also became an integral part of the academic and non-academic agenda of FEB Unair. Therefore, synergy between organizations is very necessary so that each program is in harmony with the vision and mission of the faculty and Universitas Airlangga .

"All FEB UNAIR student organizations must unite to achieve the vision and mission of the faculty in improving the quality of education, research and community service. All of them must have an impact on the progress of FEB Airlangga University, which in turn also contributes to the achievement of Universitas Airlangga . FEB ONE - Great Airlangga! "Said Prof. Dian.

Furthermore, Prof. Dian explained the great was not just a pride, but an acronym that reflects the character of UNAIR students, namely Humble, Honest, Helpful (H),  Excellent (E),  Brave (B),  Agile (A), and  Transcendent (T) . He also underlines the importance of ethics in every aspect of the organization, both in communication, achievement, research, and community service. "Let's work together and support each other, not eliminate each other," he said.

During the two days of implementation, participants took part in a series of strategic agendas, including the coordination meeting of the activities and Budget of Ormawa, discussion of organizational strengthening, and team-building to increase team cooperation. This activity is also a place to develop leadership character and strengthen networks between organizers of Ormawa.

Deputy Dean I Feb Unair, Dr. Wisnu Wibowo, helped introduce the faculty management ranks and explained the evaluation and strategic plans related to the management of the student organization budget. With transparency in governance, it is expected that the FEB UNAIR student organization can run its programs more effectively and accountably.

This activity has a strategic role in building governance of student organizations that are inclusive, transparent, and oriented to sustainability. With good coordination, orderly budget management, and open communication between students and faculty leaders, FEB UNAIR is committed to creating a participatory and progressive organizational environment.

Through Camp Ormawa 2025, the organizers of Ormawa FEB UNAIR are expected not only to become leaders in the campus environment, but are also able to apply the principles of good organizational governance. Thus, they can have a positive impact on the academic community and the wider community.
