FEB attended the Soaiization of the Election of Unair Rector 1(FEB News) Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair), today (5/2/2025) attended the invitation to the Socialization of the Election of Unair Rector for 2025-2030. This event is part of a series of socialization conducted by the Chancellor Candidate Selection Committee (PSCR) chaired by Prof. Dr. Suryanto, M.Si., Psychologist - as Chair of PSCR and accompanied by Prof. Dr. M. Hadi Shubhan, SH, MH, CN - as Deputy Chairperson of PCSR along with the ranks, to provide understanding to the Faculty Leaders and Work Units within the Airlangga University regarding the stages of transparent and accountable chancellor elections.

This event is part of a series of socialization scheduled by the Chancellor Candidate Selection Committee (PSCR) to provide an explanation to the Faculty Leaders, Faculty Advisory Agency (BPF), and work units in Universitas Airlangga.

Present as the speaker at the socialization event was Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., Ca. -Dean of FEB UNAIR at the same time as the coordinator for the registration of UNAIR Chancellor candidates for the 2025-2030 period which Prof. Dian explained the stages of the Chancellor election which included selection, filtering, and election of candidates for the Chancellor by the Academic Senate of the University and the Council of Wali Mandate (MWA). This process aims to choose a chancellor who has a vision, competence, and integrity in leading UNAIR towards academic progress, research, and contribution to the community and nation.

The Chancellor Election Stages began with the formation of the Chancellor Candidate Selection Committee on January 17, 2025, followed by the socialization of the election procedures on 3-6 February 2025. The registration of the chancellor candidates and medical tests was scheduled on February 10-21, 2025, with the verification of the chancellor candidates took place on 24- February 28, 2025. Announcement of the results of the Chancellor Candidate selection will be conducted on March 3-5, 2025.

After that, the campus community test will be held on March 10-21, 2025, where lecturers, students, education staff, and alumni can provide input related to the chancellor candidates. The propriety and feasibility test stage is scheduled for April 14-17 2025, with the announcement and submission of the test results on April 21-23, 2025. The chancellor election by MWA was planned in May 2025, and the inauguration of the elected Chancellor will take place on June 17, 2025.
