(FEB UNAIR - NEWS Studentmakers) out of a total of 61 participants of the Micro Small Enterprises (UMK) Cooperation between FEB Airlangga University together with KPPU Regional Office IV Surabaya, UMKM Corner Team consisting of Fidela Albina, Nuril Auliya, and Sagita Audiyah succeeded in noting external achievements normal. During January 3-26, 2025, they accompanied UMK perpetrators in digitalization, marketing, branding, and financial recording. Not only that, they also succeeded in creating social media content that penetrated more than 10,000 spectators from a total of spectators on two social media platforms.

This program targets various MSEs in Surabaya, including Mrs. Ati Corn Rice (Tambaksari), STMJ Bu Karmini (Rangkah), Mrs. Sutini Pecel Rice (Wonokromo), Jamu Bu Wagino (Ketintang), Rujak Cingur Bu Sumini (Jambangan), Gado-Gado Bu Fitri (Jambangan), to the culinary center of UMKM RW 09 (Rungkut). With guidance from the UMKM corner team, business people now have a Whatsapp Business account, registered on Google Maps, and get new logos and branding that are more professional and attractive to customers.

In digitalization, the UMKM corner team helps the creation of Instagram and Whatsapp Business accounts so that customers more easily interact with business actors. In addition, UMK is also registered on Google Maps, so that more people can find their business location easily. The team also accompanied the creation of digital promotion content for social media, which not only increased MSME exposure but also introduced how to build engagement with customers online. One of their big achievements is a promotional video that penetrates more than 10,000 spectators, proves that digital marketing can significantly expand market reach.

On the branding side, UMK perpetrators get more attractive logo, banner and product label designs. Products such as STMJ Bu Karmini and Mrs. Ati's corn rice now have a stronger visual identity, making it easier to recognize and attract customers. In addition, this team also provides simple financial recording training so that MSMEs are more structured in managing income and expenses. Previously, many business actors still mixed personal and business finances without clear recording. With this training, they are taught how to prepare simple reports to make it easier to find out profits and develop businesses more professionally.

The UMKM corner team also contributes to improving facilities at the culinary center of UMKM RW 09, by providing digital e-menu, trash bins, and ashtrays to improve visitors' comfort. This step is expected to make the business place more attractive and increase attractiveness for new customers.

With these various programs, the MSME corner team has succeeded in having a real impact on business actors, both in marketing, digitalization, and business management. UMK actors are now more ready to compete with more modern marketing strategies and stronger branding. This success proves that collaboration between academics and UMK is able to encourage the development of local business. The hope, UMK who have received assistance can continue to develop and implement the digital strategy that has been taught. Thus, they not only survive but also grow bigger in the digital age.
