(FEB NEWS) Monday, 29 July 2024 - Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) held a cooperation agreement signing procession with the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) East Java Province, which was located in the Fadjar Notonagoro Hall, 2nd floor of FEB UNAIR. The event, which took place on Monday, July 29 2024, marked an extension of the collaboration which has entered its third period in the context of implementing the student internship program at the Regional Office of the DJPb of East Java Province.
The signing of this collaboration agreement was carried out by the Dean of FEB UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA., and Head of the Regional Office of DJPb East Java Province, Didyk Choiroel, S.Sos., MM, M.Sc. This event was witnessed by the Deputy Deans and Management of FEB UNAIR, as well as the Management of the Regional Office of DJPb of East Java Province.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia expressed her appreciation for the collaboration that has taken place over the previous two periods and hopes that this collaboration can continue to provide significant benefits. "This collaboration is in line with the Independent Campus Learning (MBKM) program, a policy issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture, which provides students with the opportunity to gain knowledge on campus while developing soft skills through direct practice in the industrial world and government agencies," he said. He also added that this structured internship program is very important to improve student competence, especially in gaining practical insight in government agencies such as the Regional Office of the DJPb of East Java Province.
Meanwhile, the Head of the East Java Province DJPb Regional Office, Didyk Choiroel, expressed his commitment to continue supporting this student internship program. "We are trying to standardize, institutionalize and structure this internship program so that the objectives of the university/university leadership can be achieved. We hope that students can gain useful and useful knowledge when they graduate, and on the other hand, we at the DJPb Regional Office can serve students "well and we also get the benefit of being able to carry out our duties well and smoothly thanks to the help of students/salin providing benefits for both parties," he said.
It is hoped that this collaboration between FEB UNAIR and Regional Office of DJPb East Java Province can continue to develop and make a real contribution in producing superior human resources ready to face future challenges.
