(FEB NEWS) "The Importance of Leadership and Culture in Organizations", that is the theme of the lecture material, for the Course - Culture and Change Management, taught by Dr. Tri Siwi Agustina, SE., MSi., delivered by speaker Nina Agustriana – Head of Division Marketing Areas PT. Nutrifood Indonesia.
In a light but able to provide very broad insight and views, Nina Agustriana, opened the lecture by telling the Profile of PT. Nutrifood Indonesia, the beginning of the establishment of PT. Nutrifood Indonesia, where PT. Nutrifood Indonesia is a company operating in the food sector, producing health food and drinks, which was founded in 1979 in the city of Semarang, which was motivated by the founder's concern about the limited availability of nutrients in food for diabetes sufferers. This gave rise to the first products, namely: Tropicana Slim and Coco Pandan Syrup.
Nina Agustriana, explained starting from the importance of determining the vision and mission when building a company/enterprise/any business. A vision and mission that can answer all existing concerns. Nina also explained further how the company/organization was managed and developed, so that it could survive until now and continue to develop, with the development of various products such as Hilo, Nutrisari, L-Men, W'Dank, and Lokalate.
Nina shared her various experiences joining PT management. Nutrifood Indonesia, starting from how the company builds employee mindsets, how important a value in the company is that must be present in each of its programs, how the company encourages all its employees to continue learning in developing their careers, how the company focuses on the nutritional needs of its consumers, encouraging awareness from its employees. consumers towards the brands they create, how to survive in times of crisis, by seeing a crisis as an opportunity, how to produce leaders who succeed in creating new leaders in their teams, and so on.
At the end of the lecture, Nina Agustriana gave a closing message, "There are only 2 words needed as a leader, namely: the first is action and the second is mainset, our mainset as partners, for everyone, for all stakeholders to bring something the place you are going."
We hope that this guest lecture can broaden the insight, perspective and real action of all those present in bringing about change anywhere, whether in organizations, in offices, and so on.
