Internships are a form of activity that is not mandatory for every Universitas Airlangga student. However, internships are highly recommended to gain experience and have added value. Due to this, the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) is collaborating with the Surabaya City Government Organization Section in the context of MBKM (Internship with Independent Campus). Edwanda Arifiyana Alkaf is one of 21 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga who is currently interning at the Surabaya City Government Organization Section.

Wanda, her nickname, told FEB NEWS Thursday (09/01/2023) that she first learned about the announcement of the internship for Implementing Public Service Innovations and the workload of ASN for the Surabaya City Government from the DPKKA Unair Instagram. Wanda really wants to do an internship in semester 7 while working on her thesis. Choosing the Surabaya City Government Organization Section as the place of internship because it is located in Surabaya so it doesn't require going out of town and of course makes it easier to access transportation, accommodation, and so on.
"I chose the Organization Section for my internship, because I was happy with the program that I took this time, namely in the Organization Section of the Surabaya City Government.
"Implementation of Public Service Innovations and ASN workload for the Surabaya City Government, which will certainly give me a lot of experience." said Wanda.
Not only that, according to Wanda, she also gained other experience that she could not have had before, namely better understanding how ASN works according to standards and calculating the workload of ASN in sub-districts, sub-districts, departments and regional governments (Pd) in the City Government. Surabaya. Even though the internship program can only last for five months, everything runs smoothly until the internship program is completed.
The ABK 2023 website is a website for writing job descriptions, frequency, how long the work takes and targets for each service which is very useful for knowing the Government ASN Workload. He also said "when I was an intern at the Surabaya city government, there were several difficulties I faced when carrying out duties at the service I surveyed in the form of misunderstandings in filling out the 2023 ABK website, because when filling it out many staff did not understand how to fill out the website," he said.
For every difficulty, there is definitely a solution that can be used to solve the problem. Likewise in this problem, according to him, the solution that can be used is that before filling in the 2023 ABK in each service, it is mandatory to hold meetings in all fields so that there is one voice or one understanding of how to fill in the 2023 ABK website. "Even though there are difficulties, it still makes me enjoy carrying out my internship every day," said Wanda
