(FEB NEWS) As a 7th semester student, experience related to internships is really needed to be able to develop oneself and provide experience to students to better prepare themselves when entering the world of work. Adelia Putri Adianingsih is a student who was accepted as an intern at the Sidoarjo Regional Tax Services Agency with an internship period from December - February.
Adelia, her nickname, said to FEB News Monday (12/12) that she had been contacted by BPPD Sidoarjo to be able to start an internship in December after submitting an internship application independently to BPPD Sidoarjo by fulfilling the requirements that had been submitted. He did not waste this internship opportunity. Adelia really has the intention of doing an internship in semester 7 while completing her thesis. BPPD Sidoarjo as the internship location was chosen by Adelia because during the internship period she will be placed in a service sector that is directly related to taxpayers who manage regional taxes.
"By being placed directly in the service department, I have new experience to be able to help solve problems faced by taxpayers related to local taxes," he said
During her internship at BPPD Sidoarjo, Adelia had various experiences in dealing with taxpayer problems. One of them is problems related to Land and Building Tax which many taxpayers face. With the help of the officers/workers there, Adelia was helped to handle various real problems faced by Taxpayers. So the knowledge gained is not only theoretical. However, he immediately jumped in to directly address the problems faced by taxpayers.
"In my internship at BPPD Sidoarjo, I helped a lot in resolving problems faced by taxpayers with the help of officers," he continued.
Apart from that, Adelia also helped check PBB and e-SPPT arrears. Then help taxpayers complete the requirements and forms if they want to change their PBB name through full transfers and split/join mutations.
"Currently, applications related to changing PBB names are made via WhatsApp. So my job while at BPPD Sidoarjo is to help explain to Taxpayers regarding the requirements and filling out forms for changing PBB names," he explained.
During his internship at BPPD Sidoarjo, he gained a lot of new experience with interact directly with Taxpayers. A deep understanding is needed to be able to solve the problems faced by taxpayers.
"During my internship, I was equipped with an understanding of the problems usually faced by Taxpayers related to Regional Taxes and ways to solve these problems. Apart from that, the various educational backgrounds that BPPD Sidoarjo officers have allowed me to learn about many things and be able to study "Therefore, by being given the opportunity to do an internship at BPPD Sidoarjo, I will make good use of it," he explained
