disdukcapil 1 feb unair(FEB NEWS) "CEO TEACHING SERIES" for the Accounting Information Systems Course, this time the Accounting Department under the leadership of Dr. Wiwik Supratiwi, Dra., MBA., Ak. – Head of the Accounting Department, FEB UNAIR, invited a speaker from the Population and Civil Registration Service (Disdukcapil) of Surabaya City – Agus Imam Sonhaji ST., MMT. – Head of Surabaya City Dukcapil Service, from AULA Mindrowo Prawirojoemeno, 2nd Floor FEB UNAIR, (2/11/2022).
Agus Imam Sonhaji ST., MMT., started the lecture by informing that the Surabaya City Dukcapil Office is currently using digital-based services. "We have transformed from manual to digital services, because the public is now asking for it quickly and correctly, so that is a challenge for government." Therefore, the Surabaya City government sees the change in community demands as a necessity. People's expectations are getting higher day by day, where people are now using digital at work.

Next, Agus Imam Sonhaji ST., MMT. Inviting students to imagine the challenges of the Surabaya City Population and Civil Registration Department, with a population of around 2,972,801 people in the city of Surabaya last semester, and tends to increase even if slightly, then you can imagine how to provide services for that many residents, if everything still runs manually, it will takes a lot of time. For this reason, Disdukcapil needs to follow the technological trend of the industrial revolution 4.0, where Industry 4.0 is an industry that combines automation technology with cyber technology, which is easier, more comfortable, faster and more precise. IT does solve problems but not everything can be solved.
Then Agus Imam Sonhaji ST., MMT, invited students to look at the difference between the public sector and the private sector, where innovation is based on profits, so that if in this innovation there is a difference in the profits that should be obtained then it will be a problem. So this is different from the public sector, which is a little looser. However, according to Agus Imam Sonhaji ST., MMT, currently the public sector is trying to transform into a better one, so what is seen as a benchmark is the private sector. So that in 2022, there will be something called NPM (New Public Management), which will start to look at the private sector, but not based on profits but rather on how to save as much expense as possible.

Agus Imam Sonhaji ST., MMT. introducing numerical methods, lean to be used to streamline processing time, SIGMA quality control through statistics, an approach to ensure products at the Dukcapil Office remain of good quality. These 2 methods are applied and implemented in the information system at the Dukcapil Office.
Next, Agus Imam Sonhaji ST., MMT. Tells the story of the creation of E-lampid (E – birth-death-moving-come), so that there was a menu in 2014, and then refined in 2020 by adding K – Kawin, because there would be no birth without marriage, so the menu changed to Klampid , and then refined again into Klampid Version-2/KNG (Klampid New Generation). From this, it can be seen that the innovations in the Dukcapai Department are improvements to all the shortcomings that existed in the old system/innovation, so that they can provide better services to the community. "This transformation is a process and involves several generations, where the current one is improving what already exists."
Furthermore, Agus Imam Sonhaji ST., MMT explained the various innovations that had been created by the Surabaya City Dukcapil Office, such as: KT-Pay, Lontong Balap and Lotong Kupang, Takon Klampit, where all these innovations were created, also came from listening to people's aspirations and by perfecting existing old innovations.

Agus Imam Sonhaji ST., MMT also talked about the background to the creation of each innovation, its function, benefits and also how to use it, so that even students and lecturers who attended the lecture were intrigued by Agus Imam to try out various service innovations. Sonhaji ST., MMT said. Students are also very enthusiastic to ask questions.
