(FEB NEWS) Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR), received another campus visit from Athirah 2 Bukit Baruga Islamic High School, Makasar, from AULA Tirtodiningrat, 2nd Floor FEB UNAIR, (25/10/2022).

The group consisted of 32 students - class 12, led directly by the Deputy Principal for Curriculum, Athirah Islamic High School 2 Bukit Baruga Makasar - Dr Bakry Liwang M.Si, together with 2 accompanying teachers, Mrs. Fahira and Ustad Rohlim.

Athirah 2 Islamic High School, which according to Dr Bakry Liwang M.Si was founded by the Hadji Kalla Foundation 12 years ago, in the Bukit Baruga area, has an encouraging slogan, Athirah - Graceful, Excellent and Smart, with the hope that Islamic High School students Athirah 2 Bukit Baruga Makasar, will be students who look elegant, excel and have intelligence.

Dr Bakry Liwang M.Si, asked and emphasized to his students to listen carefully to the material presented during the visit, to ensure that students understand that it is not enough just to have the best secondary education, but in continuing their studies, students You also need to choose the best state universities such as FEB UNAIR.

Dr Bakry Liwang M.Si, said that the purpose of the visit was 1.) To get sufficient explanation about superior study programs, at the best campuses; 2.) Future prospects, especially the economy in facing increasingly rapid changes, not only in the field of education but also in the world of work and technology, and how FEB UNAIR will respond; and 3.) Knowing the study structure at FEB UNAIR, entry routes, curriculum, tricks to graduate quickly, the possibility of being able to enter from the science and social studies majors.

The event ended with a question and answer session, where the students looked very enthusiastic, their curiosity was extraordinary. The students also listened to the material very well, so there were lots of good questions asked by the students in that session.

Hopefully, this visit can provide benefits and blessings for all of us, especially for the younger siblings from Athirah 2 Bukit Baruga Islamic High School Makasar and be blessed with everything that Allah SWT aspires for, joining as part of the Airlangga Knights - together building the nation.
