(FEB UNAIR) In order to improve the quality of implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education, it is also necessary to improve both the quality and quantity of human resources in the field of accounting, especially graduates of the Accounting Study Program, the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR), on Friday, 21 October 2022, signed the Collaboration Agreement with the Indonesian Accountants Association (IAI) from the Fadjar Notonagoro Hall, 2nd Floor FEB UNAIR.

Both parties agreed to work together to organize the IAI Computer Based Examination (CBE) Center at FEB UNAIR, to develop and make it easier to increase accounting graduates directly into the accounting profession. Collaboration between the two parties is a form of support for creating quality education so that it can produce quality graduates who can ultimately create superior human resources for Indonesia (SDG's 4, and SDg's 17).

The signing procession was carried out by Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA. - Dean of FEB UNAIR together with Prof. Mardiasmo, MBA, Ph.D, CFr.A.,QIA, Ak., CA., FCMA.,CGMA., ASEAN CPA., CPA (Aust.), CFSA, QGIA – Chairman of the National Management Board of the Indonesian Association of Accountants (IAI ), who is also Chair of the Taxation Supervisory Committee, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia.

Present at the event, Chairman of the IAI East Java Region, Mr. Prof. Basuki, M.Com (Hons)., Ph.D., Ak., CA., CMA., Asean CPA; Dr. Wiwik Supratiwi, Dra., MBA., Ak. - Head of Accounting Department; Nadia Anridho, S.Ak., MBA., Ph.D. - Secretary of the Accounting Department; professors; lecturers and students of the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program.

Appeal to all accounting students, so that after graduating they don't stop there, but need to continue/take one level above the bachelor's degree, namely Professional Accountant Education, namely through the Combined Degree Program. According to Prof. Dian Agustia., SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA., that the Indonesian Accountants Association (IAI) is a fairly mature professional association, which is 62 years old.

Expressing his gratitude for the signing of the Cooperation Agreement between FEB UNAIR and IAI. Accountants are a profession, so a CBE Center is provided at FEB UNAIR as part of digitalization efforts, strengthening programs, so that for certification exams you no longer need to go to Jakarta, and the implementation is no longer done manually, so you can save time, energy, etc. According to Prof. Mardiasmo, MBA, Ph.D., a bachelor's degree in accounting alone is not enough, so you need to add a profession. Therefore, a collaboration between IAI and FEB UNAIR was agreed to establish a CBE Center at FEB UNAIR.
