In his speech, Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA., stated that relations between universities and industry are very necessary, because according to Prof. Dian Agustia, "campuses must be in line with the industrial world, where to improve the quality of education, campuses really need to get a lot of input from the industrial world, in order to perfect the curriculum/curriculum updates, so that education can link and match with the needs of the world of work, business and industry. achieved.

For this reason, collaboration is needed between FEB UNAIR and the East Java Province KADIN so that they can work hand in hand in thinking about graduates from tertiary institutions, which according to the Dean of FEB UNAIR is not only for UNAIR graduates, but also, for all tertiary graduates, as hoped. Mas Minister, through the MBKM Program, that graduates must be equipped with experience. And for this, the Dean of FEB UNAIR expressed his thanks and very high appreciation to the Chair of the East Java Province KADIN, that through this collaboration he could have a positive impact on the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

People often think that university graduates are still not ready to use it. For this reason, in order to prepare graduates who are ready to face global challenges, as required by industry, the FEB UNAIR Internship Program is designed in a structured manner where intern students must demonstrate their internship commitment, so that they will truly be able to make a real contribution to the company/industry where they are located. students are interns, apart from that the students themselves will gain real experience in the industrial world, and can apply all the knowledge gained on campus, and know firsthand that sometimes what is in theory is not necessarily suitable for an industry. Therefore, according to Prof. Dian Agustia, there is a great need for mentors both from industry and from the faculty.

Meanwhile, Adik Dwi Putranto - Chairman of the Provincial KADIN. JATIM, in his speech explained that 1 (one) of the main points of the KADIN Program for the next 5 years is improving human resources, not only related to MBKM, Vocational, including human resources from UKMs, including technical competence of lecturers which can influence KPI, internships for teachers, and internships for lecturers.

Responding to the supervisor from Industry, Adik Dwi Putranto, stated that the meeting had already clicked, that currently the Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry. East Java, is focusing on industrial improvement, where it is necessary to train Workplace Trainers. Adik Dwi Putranto, continued that "if the industry already has workplace trainers, then accepting apprentices will be "loving", there are even those who can accept 100 apprentices a day, because the value of the benefits for the industry is very large and beneficial.

Furthermore, Adik Dwi Putranto, explained that "KADIN is currently carrying out outreach in industries, that there are trainings in industry so that in industry there are "Workplace Trainers", the name of the training is "Workplace Trainers" there are 20 people ( 10 from industry and 10 from education). Before training is held, it is necessary to harmonize the curriculum, so that the materials/curriculum in industry can link and match with the curriculum in Vocational Schools, Vocational Schools and Universities.

Dwi Putranto's younger brother explained that KADIN also manages MBKM on campuses. Why is that, because the industry really needs a team to work, where the team must have productivity, so that the industry will have stronger competitiveness, for this reason a team of MBKM interns is needed.

So in the future, according to Adik Dwi Putranto, further discussion is needed on how to measure work productivity from internship activities, where whether the internship activity is successful or not is measured by productivity.

Meanwhile, the Deputy General Chair of KADIN/Head of Management of the Surabaya Export Center/Deputy Director of the KADIN Institute - Tommy Kaihatu, said that in the past he often received challenges, it was said that "graduates from universities are not ready to be used by industry, but are ready to be educated", so Tommy hopes , "Hopefully with the MBKM Program, God willing, everything can roll out, run as expected, in terms of framework thinking.

Tommy, who is an industrialist and educator (a true UNAIR), emphasized and hoped that, through Deputy Dean I FEB UNAIR – Dr. Wisnu Wibowo, so that students really take advantage of this opportunity, "The Surabaya Export Center opens up the widest possible opportunities, for internship students to really learn what business management is like, how to contact buyers, how to pay the payment system, even though interns have background of the Development Economics Study Program. The Export Center provides space to interact with MSMEs, large companies and abroad, to provide internship students with the opportunity to develop and have real experience in the industrial world.
