The Deliberation of Commissariat VIII of the FE Unair Alumni Association was completed on Saturday, 18 December 2021, the event which took place in the Fajar Notonegoro Hall, Campus B, Faculty of Economics Universitas Airlangga , produced Fandi Ahmad Yani as Chair of the FE Unair Alumni Association for the period 2021 – 2025. The activity was with the theme "Together "Creating a Great Unair IKAFE" was opened with a joint prayer to remember fellow alumni and FEB Unair teaching staff who died during the pandemic.
This time Muskom was attended by representatives of aging alumni who graduated from the 60s to millennial alumni who were fresh graduates. The presence of alumni across generations was a special color in enlivening the activities which took place in a family-filled atmosphere. The implementation of Muskom VIII was carried out with strict health protocols, before entering the Muskom arena the participants had gone through an antigen test provided by the committee. Next, Gus Yani, Fandi Ahmad Yani's nickname, as chairman, will prepare a management structure to be appointed by the chairman of PP IKA UA.
Several alumni representatives at this muskom expressed their hope that the elected chairman would be able to lead IKAFE not only as a forum for alumni friendship but also to be present and play an active role in discussing strategic studies related to the regional and national economy. Meanwhile Prof. Dian Agustia, Dean of FEB Unair, in his speech when closing the Commissariat VIII Deliberation performance emphasized his support for IKAFE as a space for synergy and collaboration for alumni of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Airlangga in working and serving the alma mater and the nation.
