GIBEI News Universitas Airlangga Investment Gallery recently held a Capital Markets School (SPM) activity in the Discussion Room, Floor. 1, Campus B Library, Universitas Airlangga . The event which was held on Saturday (22/9) was attended by more than 100 participants. Not only Unair students, the Capital Markets School was also attended by students from other campuses such as UPN V East Java and Brawijaya University. In fact, the general public also took part in this event.
Rasidi, Chair of the SPM Committee, expressed his desire for participants to be active in carrying out trading and investments. “ The best investment is in yourself. The more you learn, the more you earn.” said Rasidi quoting Warren Buffet. All SPM participants will later become investors, because before the event is held, participants are required to open a securities account first.
Collaborating with the Indonesian Stock Exchange and Indo Premier Sekuritas as partners, the SPM event was divided into two sessions. Dyan Fajar Mahardika, Executive Trainer of the Indonesian Stock Exchange, delivered material about the capital market in detail in session one. In the next session, material about trading and introduction to investment products was presented by Adhe Citra Widiatmoko, Head of Marketing Area 2 Retail Division Indo Premier Sekuritas.
