The Indonesian Management Forum (FMI) is a forum that accommodates academics and institutions in management science initiated by the Department of Management FEB Universitas Airlangga and supported by PTNs and PTSs in Indonesia, such as Padjadjaran University and Bina Nusantara. Founded on November 10 2008 at the Tunjungan Hotel, Surabaya, FMI currently has almost 1000 individual members from Sabang to Merauke.
On its 8th anniversary, FMI again held a Seminar and Conference, which this time was held at the Mercure Hotel Palu. The event held by the committee from the Faculty of Economics, Tadulako University from 10-12 November was lively. Present as speakers and presenters were the Chancellor of Tadulako University, special staff from the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education, BI practitioners, as well as hundreds of management academics.
The encouraging thing about this event was that the Department of Management received several awards, namely Best Paper 1 by Mr. I Made Sudana, MSi and the award as the best delegation to the Department of Management, Universitas Airlangga . Another proud thing is the re-election of Mr. Sri Gunawan, DBA as General Chair of the FMI Center for the 2016-2021 period.
For the Management Department, FMI is not only a means of communication and friendship between PTN/PTS Management study programs, but also as a means of building national achievements for the Management Department Universitas Airlangga .
