Business education must be for practitioners/professionals, the teaching and learning process should be different from that of fresh graduate participants. Even the term student centered learning can be adjusted to become participant centered learning. This is at least what Dr. Syed Aun Raza Rizvi from Lahore University of Management Science (LUMS). In front of dozens of lecturers in the FEB Unair environment, both from MM FEB Unair teachers and from the departments of Economics, Accounting and Sharia Economics. Even those from Corporate University Kamadjaja Logistics were also enthusiastic to attend.
Dr. Aun conveyed this in the "Teaching Methods for Professional Students" workshop on 13 May 2019 at the Tirtodiningrat Hall. An exciting discussion also took place with many questions and statements from the participants. The essence of the entire material is to remind that practitioners need different PBMs to further refine their experience into accumulation and connection with business management science.
