ABSTRACT

The Design of Livestock Agribusiness Business Strategy To Achieve Sustainability (Case Study: CV XYZ).
Supervised by Prof. Badri Munir Sukoco, SE., MBA., PhD. This descriptive-qualitative research was conducted on the agribusiness company of laying chicken in East Java, involving internal and external respondents with the aim of obtaining factual information to create an applicative strategy formulation for an agribusiness company.
According to ST2013, the livestock sector contributes 1.62% to the national GDP while East Java is the province with the largest number of Household Agricultural Enterprises, which is 4.98 million households. The large contribution given by agribusiness companies, especially in the field of animal husbandry, a mature strategy is needed for the agribusiness livestock farmers to manage their business in order to survive in the future and still participate in the economy and national food security. So based on the exposure to the facts above, the researcher wants to study about the business strategy design on the company that is involved in the agribusiness of laying chicken breeding XYZ CV to achieve sustainability in the era of free market.
