Abstract
Leadership in organizational life plays an important role. For employees, leadership behavior implemented by leaders that is appropriate to employee conditions is expected to strengthen employees' internal motivation in an effort to increase productivity. Productivity can be a comparison between current implementation and the targets or objectives that have been set. This research aims to determine the influence of leadership factors consisting of task behavior leadership and relationship behavior leadership as well as motivation factors consisting of physiological needs motivation, security needs motivation, social needs motivation, esteem needs motivation and self-actualization needs motivation towards work productivity of employees of external service officers at the People's Credit Bank on Lombok Island. The population of this study was all external service employees at the People's Credit Bank (BPR) on Lombok Island, totaling 558 people. Samples were taken from 84 people (15% of the population) using simple random sampling technique. Data were analyzed on a Likert scale and using the path analysis method (Path Analysis). To determine the significance of variables in path analysis, the t test and probability are used with the rule that if the probability p < 0.05 is said to be significant, the probability p > 0.05 is said to be not significant. The research results show that task behavior leadership and relationship behavior leadership do not have a direct influence on work productivity. Factors that have a direct and significant influence on work productivity are physiological needs motivation, security needs motivation and social needs motivation. The motivational factors of the need for appreciation and the motivational need for self-actualization are not significant on the work productivity of external service employees at BPR on Lombok Island. Task behavior leadership has an indirect effect on work productivity through the intervening variables physiological need motivation and security need motivation, while relationship behavior leadership has an indirect effect on productivity through the intervening variables safety need motivation and social need motivation.
