The study was conducted through the questionnaire surveys with 97 respondents from construction sites in Surabaya (East Java), Indonesia. The conceptual model was analyzed using the partial least squares structural equations modeling (PLS-SEM). The study findings have important suggestions for management regarding workplace safety practices. Safety motivation plays a role of competitive mediation as well as partial mediation in this study.
