Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of examining the influence of Capital, Risk and Reinsurance Levels on Indonesian insurance companies for the 2012-2016 period. This research was carried out using data collection procedures in the form of library research, then analyzing financial reports from several different insurance companies, so as to obtain the financial ratios needed to conduct research. The analytical tests carried out in this research include the partial correlation test, classical assumption test and multiple regression test. After carrying out multiple regression testing, the research results showed that capital had a positive effect on risk and the effect was stronger in companies that had lower capital. Next, capital has a negative effect on reinsurance, but risk has a positive effect on reinsurance. Apart from that, it also shows that company size has a negative effect on capital and reinsurance, but has a positive effect on risk. So this research produces the conclusion that all research results are in accordance with the research hypothesis. This research can be used as a reference or forecast for the state of the company's financial reports in the future. This research can also be used as a reference in making decisions about dealing with risks in insurance companies. What things need to be taken into account and what needs to be done to avoid risks.
