Abstract

The issue of high internet connection costs and slow internet connections at PT Telkomsel is the basis for this research. The problems that occur affect customer satisfaction, thus raising questions about how the role of a leader through empowering leadership can stimulate employee creativity in finding solutions to this problem. This research aims to determine the effect of empowering leadership on employee creativity with psychological empowerment and involvement in the creative process as mediating variables. This research was conducted on employees at PT Telkomsel. The research approach uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires to respondents, as well as using SEM to analyze data with the IBM AMOS 20 application. The results of this research state that empowering leadership has a significant positive influence on employee creativity. Psychological empowerment is also proven to be a mediating variable from empowering leadership to employee creativity, and involvement in the creativity process is also proven to be a mediating variable from empowering leadership to employee creativity. The results of this research contribute to the pattern of leader empowerment on employee creativity.
