Abstract

Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) is an expansion theory of TRA (Reaction Action Theory). This theory states that a person's behavioral intentions depend on three factors, namely attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control. This research wants to try to determine the influence of environmental knowledge and environmental concern in influencing the theory of planned behavior using a sample of 200 male respondents using user skin care that has never used green skin care before. This research uses a Structural Equation Model (SEM) using Amos software. The research results conclude that environmental knowledge has a significant impact on attitude and perceived behavior control, environmental concern has a significant impact on attitude and subjective norms, TPB has a significant impact on green purchase intention. There were two results that were not significant, namely the influence of environmental knowledge on subjective norms and environmental concern on perceived behavior control.

Keywords: green skin care, environmental concern, environmental knowledge
