Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the influence of empowering leadership and psychological capital, with job crafting as a mediating variable on employees of the Wyndham Hotel Surabaya. The population in this study were employees from the sales and marketing, food and beverages, human resources, engineering, IT, room divisions. With a total of 99 employees. Sampling used the census method by taking the entire population as research samples. The data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Model (SEM) with measurement techniques using Partial Least Square, with SmartPLS software. The results of this research show that empowering leadership and psychological capital have a significant effect on job crafting, and job crafting has a significant effect on career success. Furthermore, empowering leadership and psychological capital have a significant effect on career success. So job crafting acts as a partial mediation on the influence of empowering leadership and psychological capital on career success.
