Abstract
This research aims to find out the influence of self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intention, and test the mediating effect of motivation, entrepreneurial attitude on the entrepreneurial intention of women MSME owners in the city of Surabaya. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. This research uses primary data from female respondents who own MSMEs in the food and beverage sector who are registered with the Surabaya City Department of Industry and Trade. Data were collected using questionnaire techniques and processed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis tool with SmartPLS 2.0 software. The results of this research show that self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. Then, motivation variables mediate the relationship between self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention, and entrepreneurial attitude also mediates the relationship between self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention. So that motivation and entrepreneurial attitude variables partially mediate the relationship between self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention.
