Abstract

BUMN Creative House (RKB) is one of the public sector organizations formed from the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of the Ministry of BUMN together with several State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). Currently, public organizations like this are required to be more effective, efficient and economical in their operations and use of resources entrusted or budgeted for an organization. The aim of this research is to find out in depth the effectiveness of the performance and impact of the presence of RKB Bank BRI Solo in developing the SMEs it fosters. This research is in the form of a case study at RKB Bank BRI Solo. The theories used in this research are contingency theory and organizational effectiveness theory. This research is a qualitative case study research, because it uses in-depth interviews to obtain information related to the research objectives. The informants in this research are the management of RKB Bank BRI Solo and the SMEs they support. Data analysis begins by making initial observations regarding existing problems, then organizing and preparing several interview questions to later form a research conclusion. The results of the research show that measuring the effectiveness of Bank BRI Solo's RKB performance in developing its fostered SMEs has been implemented effectively, if seen from the factors, indicators, measures and process of evaluating the performance effectiveness of Bank BRI Solo's RKB. This also proves the theory of organizational effectiveness with an internal process approach that prioritizes processes within it in achieving organizational goals so that it will have an impact on the development of fostered SMEs. The presence of RKB Bank BRI Solo is able to increase the class of SMEs from low rank to higher class to compete with higher brands. Through optimal use of facilities and training, the quality of SMEs can be improved from all aspects. A limitation in the research is that there are no financial reports that support measuring the effectiveness of the RKB Bank BRI Solo performance. Suggestions for further research are to look at several benchmarks that have not yet been researched, such as financial performance seen in terms of financial reports, budgets and realization.
