Abstract

This research was conducted to test the effect of product innovation on company value through financial performance as a mediating variable and to test the effect of quality management on company value through financial performance as a mediating variable. The population in this research are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. The test was carried out using Partial Least Square data analysis techniques, with the help of SmartPLS 3 software. The test results showed that product innovation had a positive effect on company value, product innovation had a positive effect on the company's financial performance, financial performance had a positive effect on company value, product innovation had a positive effect on company value through financial performance. The direct influence of product innovation on company value decreased after the mediating variable financial performance was included, so it can be said that the mediation that occurred was partial mediation. Quality management is proven to have no effect on company value, quality management has no effect on financial performance. Testing the effect of quality management on company value through company financial performance was not continued because quality management does not have a direct effect on company value and does not have a direct effect on financial performance.
