Abstract
The topic of entrepreneurship is still interesting to discuss in developing countries like Indonesia. Looking at the percentage of entrepreneurs in Indonesia, it is still very small compared to the current population. With a very large population in Indonesia compared to the number of entrepreneurs, the level of unemployment will be clearly visible. In order to find out more deeply about the factors that influence the desire for entrepreneurship, researchers used several variables, namely: contextual factors, perceived attitude, perceived behavioral control, and entrepreneurial intentions. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of contextual factors on entrepreneurial intentions which are mediated by personal attitude and perceived behavioral control. The variables in this research were measured by a survey of 124 respondents who were students at Surabaya State University, PKK Department using the Warps Partial Least Square (PLS) statistical tool. The results of this research show that educational support has a direct influence on entrepreneurial intentions, while relational support and structural support do not have a direct influence on entrepreneurial intentions. Structural support influences entrepreneurial intentions which is mediated by perceived behavioral control. Based on these results, perceived behavioral control is proven to be a mediating variable for structural support on entrepreneurial intentions
Keywords: Contextual factors, personal attitude, perceived behavioral control, entrepreneurial intention.
