Abstract

Small Industry as a basis of people's economy becomes very important and needs full support, because of its ability to provide more added value and employ more labor. The organizational effectiveness of small industries indicates the improvement of Indonesian economy. As a starting point from the analysis above, the purpose of my research is to analyze the effect of several factors on management control system to the small metal industry organizational effectiveness in Sidoarjo. One of the increased efforts to the organizational effectiveness of small metal industry is to understand several factor management control systems. The research results using linear regression analysis show that there exist five free variables that have no significant effect on the organizational effectiveness of small metal industry in categories both with culviator and without culviator. These are organizational structure, organization, culture, information flow, strategic planning, and measurement of realization. These not significant free variables are not suitable to include in the model. Analysis using stepwise regression approach has the following results: delegation of authority, coordination, compensation, programming, budgeting, and decision making are significant to the organizational effectiveness. The calculation result using t test with two free samples shows the existence of significant differences between the organizational effectiveness with categories both culvilator and without culvilator.
